Terms & Conditions
1) Eligibility & Participation
- Participation is open to individuals and groups.
- Each group may consist of a maximum of 5 students.
- Participants must be registered primary (7-12 years old) or secondary (13-17 years old) school students at the time of entry.
2) Multiple Entries
- Schools are allowed to submit more than one team.
- Each participant may only be involved in one team/project submission.
3) Project Requirements
- Projects must be innovation-based and demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, or practical application.
- Projects can be new or ongoing, including unfinished prototypes.
4) Video Submission Requirement
- Participants must record and share a video presentation of their project.
- The video duration must be a maximum of 5 minutes.
- The video should clearly present the idea, concept, and functionality of the project.
5) Submission Period
- Participants may start sharing their video from 23 March until 24 April 2026.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
6) Submission Method
- Participants are required to upload their video on YouTube and submit the accessible link via the official registration platform.
- The submitted link must remain active and accessible throughout the competition period.
7) Language
- All projects and video presentations must be submitted in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
8) Public Access & Privacy
- All projects and video submissions will be accessible to the public.
- Participants must ensure that no personal, confidential, or sensitive information is disclosed in their submissions.
- The organiser shall not be held responsible for any issues arising from public sharing.
9) Judging & Evaluation
- Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, innovation, practicality, and presentation quality.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding, and no appeals will be entertained.
10) Finalist Selection
- A total of 20 teams from each category (Primary & Secondary) will be selected as finalists.
- Finalists will be invited to showcase their projects to a panel of judges during the Grand Final.
11) Originality & Integrity
- All projects must be original and must not infringe, plagiarise, or copy from any other party.
- Any form of misconduct or dishonesty will result in disqualification.
12) Project Completion
- Incomplete projects are allowed. Participants are encouraged to submit and showcase the working components of their project.
- INNOPINTAR emphasises learning experience, creativity, and knowledge sharing.
13) Intellectual Property
- Participants retain ownership of their projects.
- By participating, participants grant the organiser the right to use, publish, and promote submitted materials for educational and promotional purposes.
14) Event Participation (Final Stage)
- Finalists must be able to attend the Grand Final physically as scheduled.
- Failure to attend may result in forfeiture of participation in the final round.
15) Awards & Certificates
- Each winning team will receive one (1) medal and one (1) certificate only.
- Additional medals or certificates may be requested at an extra cost.
16) Acceptance of Terms
- By submitting an entry, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions stated above.
